White Chapel Chimes

Bell choirs have been an integral part of First Church's music program since April 1961, when Roger and Frances Keck ordered a set of hand bells from Whitechapel Bell Foundry in England. The bells arrived in July 1963. During the long waiting period, the bell choir had been using bells owned by the Keck family. In 1981-1982, eleven new hand bells arrived to supplement our existing set. Since then, the bell choir has had four-octave hand bells and two-octave hand chimes.
